CONNECT on stage in Barcelona
Our colleague Mihai Lisetchi show-cased the results of our #NewEuropeanBauhaus (#NEB) project CONNECT funded by Climate-KIC EIT – European Institute of Innovation and Technology during the international #NEB session organized in Barcelona, Spain.
As organisation, we are fascinated with the opportunity provided by the NEB programme towards achieving a sustainable and inclusive urban development. We engage within the NEB activities of the European Commission by actively facilitating access to high TRL #innovation to regional stakeholders from Eastern Europe and Western Balkans.
The CONNECT project, implemented jointly with our partner FABER Cultural Centre (https://faber.ro/) was a small-scale pilot aimed at bridging resources, capacities and urban capital towards a better integration of refugees, minorities and social groups at risk in solving urban challenges and engaging in entrepreneurship and value creation.
