A great week for citizen engagement
What a great week for #multicultural #citizen #engagement in Timisoara, Romania !
Our project (CONNECT) financed by EIT Urban Mobility EIT Climate-KIC RIS under the #NewEuropeanBauhaus initiative supported a series of activities during 26 – 30 October under the theme of “City Sound Walks” through which #ukranians, #minorities and citizens explored Timisoara through sound and walking tours.
The participants used the audio recordings to reflect upon and co-create a new map of the city with an end goal to boost #socialinclusion, #identify, #belonging and #socialinnovation. The results of the co-creation will be made available soon via a digital gallery.
The events were facilitated by our strategic partner FABER Cultural Centre (https://faber.ro) and moderated by top experts in the field such as Teodora Borghoff, Jack Bardwell, Cristina Potra-Muresan, Costache Gabriela-Anabella.
What is next ? Phase two of our action: “My Network is my Nest” – which consists of a series of four activities aimed to help our target groups build local #professional networks and even engage in #entrepreneurship.
