Tackling fake news
We have big plans for helping #youth in the #europeanunion better handle #fakenews #misinformation #malinformation or #disinformation on topics such as #immigration #politics #democracy #pandemics and #technology !
Our project, superYOUTH (financed by #ErasmusPlus) aims to develop a transnational #youthworker training programme tackling the above challenges.
Besides training, we will develop an #openaccess platform for young people where they can report fake news and ask for advice from experts.
We are pleased to liaise with UNESCO’s fake news training toolkit and to add up further work on #behaviouralchange to break down youth’s pre-existing #bias formed through exposure to fake news.
A more #democratic #EU is achieved only through an informed society and this is where we come into place !
